SoAI Bench is SoAI's OpenCL GPU benchmark and stress tool. It records the selected device, runtime context, settings snapshot, telemetry, and result. Its synthetic OpenCL workloads measure compute, memory, and latency under a defined profile; they do not predict model-token throughput.
What a run needs
SoAI Bench requires an enabled hardware manager
(SYSTEM.HARDWARE.ENABLED) and a GPU with a working OpenCL runtime and sufficient memory.
A GPU can appear in Hardware and still return Unsupported for the benchmark; read the reported reason.
Only 1 benchmark or stress run can be active per GPU. A second run on that device is rejected while the active run holds the device.
Profiles in the SoAI WebUI
| Profile | WebUI behavior |
|---|---|
| Standard | Opens the certified SoAI Bench dialog. It runs at least 120 seconds of active warm-up work, followed by 5 measured passes. |
| Stress | Starts the mixed stress workload immediately. The WebUI uses a 60-second quick stress run and does not provide a temperature-limit field. |
Standard results are certified after all 5 measured passes produce valid workload and score evidence. Optional telemetry remains descriptive. Eligible Standard results can be shared with the public SoAI Bench leaderboard. Stress is for observing thermal or instability behavior and has no certified result.
Open SoAI Bench
- Open Hardware and select SoAI Bench at the top of the page.
- When more than 1 GPU is available, select one from the list. With 1 available GPU, SoAI opens its run dialog directly.
- Review the certified run dialog and select Start.
The page button can open the certified run dialog for a GPU without tuning controls. To start a 60-second stress
run, use Test then Stress in that GPU's GPU controls panel.
Starting either run requires GPU tuning (HW_GPU_TUNING), while stopping one requires
Recovery administration (RECOVERY_ADMIN); the default Administrator role has both permissions.
