Offline machine translation on the CPU with CTranslate2 and Helsinki-NLP models, served through chat completions and completions.
CTranslate2 is an offline CPU neural machine translation backend, not a general chat engine. It runs CTranslate2 model entries from the Helsinki-NLP repository and exposes translation through the chat completions and completions endpoints.
It does not provide embeddings, Responses, vision, tool calling, or audio. In SoAI, install its backend from Plugins, download a translation model, and clone the plugin when you need a separately configured instance.
