Marks, patents, and third parties
The SoAI name and logo are claimed marks. No application or registration is represented unless this page is updated with verified facts. Truthful nominative phrases such as “compatible with SoAI” do not make a third-party product official, sponsored, or endorsed. SoAI branding may not be used to misrepresent origin.
No statement claims that a known SoAI patent exists. The operative licenses provide only their approved limited grant under Licensor-controlled patent claims necessarily infringed by authorized use. They provide no broader patent warranty, non-infringement promise, or right under a third party’s patents.
Third-party software, models, providers, product names, and marks belong to their respective owners. Bundled notices and license texts identify applicable third-party components and ship with each artifact.
Official source and releases
SoAI Core source is available under the SoAI Source-Available License 1.0. Only numbered, immutable GitHub releases are official. Each official release exposes its complete associated Core-only commit history; no private SoAI OS history or object is part of that publication.
Rights granted directly by GitHub’s controlling platform terms remain governed by those terms. The SoAI license does not add a broader off-platform right to operate SoAI, distribute binaries or substantially complete copies, or offer an unauthorized fork as a product.
Each official Core version changes to the MIT License exactly four years after its first official public release. Later versions do not change early. SoAI OS is a separate private source-available product and has no automatic Change Date.
Outside code contributions are not accepted until a deliberate contribution policy and rights process is published. Issue reports may be submitted, but a patch is not accepted merely because it was sent.
Coordinated vulnerability disclosure
Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to [email protected]. Include the affected version, reproduction steps, impact, and a safe contact method. Do not access other people’s data, disrupt services, use social engineering, or publish an unresolved vulnerability before coordinated disclosure.
Reports are acknowledged, triaged, investigated, remediated, and coordinated in proportion to risk. Good-faith research following this policy will not be pursued merely for bypassing a restriction to demonstrate the issue, subject to mandatory law and third-party rights. This is not authorization to violate law.
